Assamite, Nosferatu, Malkavian

Kindred with this power no how to hide among crowds and how to cloud people's mind so the remain unseen. I always let a person with higher Auspex than a person's Obfuscate see through.

1• Cloak of Shadows (VtM 3rd)

Your ability to conceal yourself is not yet fully developed, you need some sort of cover in order to hide yourself effectively. Once undercover you must remain completely motionless in order to remain obscured.

1 • Hidden Presence

The character cannot be located by any means other than visual sighting. Magic, Psionics, etc simply will not find her unless she wishes to be found. If the Character is using Create Name or another similar ability, that persona can be located, if the Kindred so wishes.

System: The character can only be detected by a being with Auspex 10 or other mystical equivalent. She is not, however, invisible to physical senses.

2• Unseen Presence (VtM 3rd)

Your powers of remaining unseen have become so potent that you can effectively cause yourself to disappear indefinitely and remain hidden even if you walk around.

3• Mask of the Thousand Faces (VtM 3rd)

This potent ability does not hide you from the gaze of others, but makes you appear as someone else.

4• Vanish from Mind's Eye (VtM 3rd)

Your power has advanced to such a degree that you may actually disappear form plain view.

5• Cloak the Gathering (VtM 3rd)

This incredibly manipulative power allows you to extend any of your Obfuscate powers to those around you.

6• Cloak (VPG)

This allows a vampire to conceal her aura from anyone using Auspex powers.

6• Conceal (GC)

The vampire can mask an inanimate object up to the size of a house.

6• Mind Blank (GC)

A vampire with this power is able to shrug off telepathic contact, easily withstanding invasive probes of his mind.

6• Soul Mask (GC) A vampire with this power can conceal their aura. He may display whatever combination or shades he chooses. Conceals diablerie. Unless otherwise stated this is always in effect.

6 • Diastasis (DAC)

A vampire with this power can make himself or herself seem to be in another place, reacting and seeming as real as the true form. The True form goes unnoticed.

7• Cache (GC)

Most obfuscate require the vampire to be within a short distance of subjects of concealment. This extends the range considerably. The Vampire must be within normal range to initiate this. The concealment will stay in effect even vampire is several miles away.

7• Veil Of Blissful Ignorance (GC)

Allows a vampire to obfuscate an unwilling victim, removing him from the notice of others. The victim must be touched by vampire.

7 • Veil the Legions (DAC)

A vampire that is well practiced in this power can conceal large masses. The more proficient in this ability the vampire is, the farther away the vampire can be. This was developed by Nosferatu strategists.

7 • Displace

Causes the character to appear anywhere within 30 feet of her actual location.

7 • Mysterious Traveler

This power causes all manner of rumours about the user to spread around the city. Every rumour will be different, attributing different appearances, manners and actions. Many will indicate the user has left town one way or another, unless he desires otherwise. One or more rumours may even contain some truth! The rumours will last one night per success before fading from people's memories.

7 • Neutralize

The Ravnos have long been adept at creating and controlling powerful illusions, powerful enough to make people (and other things) believe they are real. A foil for the Discipline, Neutralize does exactly that: it erases illusions. This power is relatively vague (like all the powers of Chimerstry); it can destroy any illusions made through the use of Chimerstry from levels one through five. However, it may not be used to detect these illusions--this knowledge is gained through other powers. This power works best in situations where the character knows that a Ravnos is around.

Note:

Generally only Ravnos will be found with this power. Other clans may learn it, but the level of power required is higher (as denoted by the higher Discipline levels for mental disciplines which may use Neutralize).**Must have at least one of the above levels to obtain this power.

System:

The Kindred spends two Willpower points and focuses on what he believes to be the illusion. If the object/person/whatever is an illusion, it fades from reality immediately (not just from the caster--it no longer exists, period). If the object is not an illusion, the Willpower points are wasted. If the caster wishes to erode other illusions besides those created with Chimerstry (example: Fae), then he spends two Willpower and needs to succeed on a Perception + Alertness roll (difficulty 7). Each success equals one turn in which the illusion disappears. In the case of the Fae, this will most likely result in a breach of the Masquerade.

8• Old Friend (GC)

A vampire can probe the subject's subconscious and take the semblance of someone whom the victim trusts over anyone else. Someone using this power does appear as someone who the victim is frightened of or awed by, but rather someone to whom the victim feels comfortable revealing intimate secrets to.

8 • Trusted Confessor (DAC)

The Nosferatu developed this to pull out information, deep dark secrets could be their goal, from the more paranoid and untrusting of individuals. The vampire with this power seems one with great respect and one that can be more than trusted, even with ones deepest darkest secrets.

8 • No Past

The character never leaves any traces for Psychometry to read. The only information available is that the item was held by a Kindred. This ability extends to other means of viewing past events, such as higher Auspex levels or magic or other similar means.

9• Create Name (VPG)

Not only does the vampire using this power appear to be someone else, but he virtually becomes a new person. Anyone reading her mind will read that of the assumed identity and aura reader will see the false aura.

10• Memory's Fading Glimpse (VPG)

With this power, a vampire can erase all traces of her existence from the annals of time and mind, thus leaving no evidence that she ever existed--simply everyone forgets about her.
