Ravnos
1 • Ignis Fatuus (VPG)
You can create minor, static illusions. The illusion cannot move. (This illusion can also appear in Penumbra and the Shadowlands)
2 • Fata Morgana (VPG)
An illusion created with this power can be detected by any and all senses, as you decide when you create it.
3 • Apparition (VPG)
This power allows the illusions you create with Chimerstry to move.
4 • Permanency (VPG)
This power allows the illusions you create with Chimerstry to continue even when you can no longer sense them.
5 • Horrid Reality (VPG)
This power is only effective against one target at a time. The target believes completely and totally that the illusion exists.
6 • Army of Apparitions (Dark Ages Companion)
A Ravnos can create an army of apparitions that move and look like the real thing.(1 BP per each moving Apparition) (Number of Apparitions no more than the Ravnos's WP rating)
6 • False Resonance (Cbk Rav Rev)
Illusions of living or unliving beings are all well and good until someone decides to read the illusion's mind or aura. A Ravnos can use False Resonance to overlay auras and thoughts on illusions, as well as leave a trace that other emotionally resonant powers can detect later. This power automatically applies to any other use of Chimerstry.
6 • Fatuus Mastery (Cbk Rav Rev)
A Ravnos with Fatuus Mastery has no restriction on how often she may use the first three levels and can maintain or control illusions with minimal concentration or fatigue. The illusion will remain until sunrise, unless the player spends blood to make it permanent.
6 • Mass Reality (VPG)
Allows more than one person to experience Horrid Reality.
6 • Cloak of Mists
This power works like the level 2 Obfuscate power Unseen Presence.
System: As Unseen Presence. The user can affect as many targets as her Stealth score.
7 • Far Fatuus (VPG)
This allows the vampire to create illusions as a distance.
7 • Mirror's Visage (Dark Ages Companion)
The vampire can create illusory copies of herself each capable of independent movement. Costs 1 blood point for each copy.
7 • Suspension of Disbelief (Cbk Rav Rev)
A Ravnos with this power can imbue her Chimerstry with a sense of reality that makes it easier for viewers to believe in the illusion.
7 • Neutralize
The Ravnos have long been adept at creating and controlling powerful illusions, powerful enough to make people (and other things) believe they are real. A foil for the Discipline, Neutralize does exactly that: it erases illusions. This power is relatively vague (like all the powers of Chimerstry); it can destroy any illusions made through the use of Chimerstry from levels one through five. However, it may not be used to detect these illusions--this knowledge is gained through other powers. This power works best in situations where the character knows that a Ravnos is around.
Note:
Generally only Ravnos will be found with this power. Other clans may learn it, but the level of power required is higher (as denoted by the higher Discipline levels for mental disciplines which may use Neutralize).**Must have at least one of the above levels to obtain this power.
System:
The Kindred spends two Willpower points and focuses on what he believes to be the illusion. If the object/person/whatever is an illusion, it fades from reality immediately (not just from the caster--it no longer exists, period). If the object is not an illusion, the Willpower points are wasted. If the caster wishes to erode other illusions besides those created with Chimerstry (example: Fae), then he spends two Willpower and needs to succeed on a Perception + Alertness roll (difficulty 7). Each success equals one turn in which the illusion disappears. In the case of the Fae, this will most likely result in a breach of the Masquerade.
8 • Fantasy World (Dark Ages Companion)
A Ravnos with this ability can create an illusory world in someone else's mind. The victim of this could be wasting away in prison but believe himself to be in another world. Costs 2 willpower points.
8 • Occlusion (Cbk Rav Rev)
A Ravnos who masters this power can shuffle others' senses around to suit his preferences. Costs one point of Willpower.
8 • Pseudo Blindness (VPG)
The vampire is unaffected by any Obsfucate or Chimerstry powers below level 9. Furthermore lies cannot effect the vampire. If a lie is told, the vampire will hear it but know it to be false. The Ravnos using this power is uneffected by the effects of Delirium, and can see through other chimestrial items or animals drawn from the Dreaming as if she were enchanted.
9 • Mayaparisatya (Cbk Rav Rev)
A Ravnos with this power can transform the air around a rival Kindred into fire or render a locked door insubstantial. Costs 10 blood points and one permanent Willpower.
9 • Sensory Deprivation (VPG)
This power denies the target's access to all five senses. Any powers that involve the senses are inoperable (Aura Perception, Clairvoyance). One turn to one year.
10 • Reality (VPG)
This allows the vampire to trap another in an alternate reality.
