In the following pages, we will try to explain Assamite Sorcery, Blood Sorcery and Tremere Thaumaturgy. They are virtually the same.

It seems that everybody under God's green earth sent in a path and it was accepted. Well, as Gehenna hits and the Aftermath begins, and God has wiped out on Earth what she feels to be the scurge, the face of the magical disciplines of the Kindred Changes.

It was not until the 3rd Edition that the Assamites had sorcery, the Tremere were known for such. Most of the Tremere Thaums were deleted because of the lack of use or the lack of need. Some were returned because of the Assamites having the same path with a different name.

[*] on a Path means that the path is a main path for that clan. A main path, or primary path. must be studied FIRST to completion before beginning another path.

Any path that is not listed in Both Tremere and Assamite Thaums is ONLY for the clan it is listed under.

In the clanbook Assamite 3rd edition, it states that if an Assamite sorceror uses a thaum of a different clan (not found within Assamite clan teachings) than it has the following penalties:

1) All costs for "foreign" blood magic paths and rituals are increased by 1/2 (rounded up) for Assamite Sorcerors.

2) All invocations of a "foreign" path requires 1 extra blood point.

3) All invocations of a "foreign" path rituals takes 3 times the amount of normal casting time.

4) All invocations of a "foreign" path rituals takes 1 extra success for any desired results.
