N.B.: This Clan, second the official history of the White Wolf, has extinguished itself to the end of the Middle Ages to work of the Giovanni, therefore the use of Cappadoci personages would have to be concurred single in the reports and Quest of medieval acclimatization. The choice to insert the Cappadoci between "the independent" Clans is due to the fact that, until 1400, did not exist between the Cainiti nothing of similar to the Seven, and every Clan was in so far as "independent" and independent from the others. Known also like the "Clan of the Dead women", the Cappadoci Cainiti is, in prevalence studious, all morbosamente interested to the secrets of the dead women. The Clan had center in Turkey, where the more illustrious members gathered in order to discuss the progresses about the own searches. The Cappadoci was often present in the courts of the more important Principles in the garments of councilmen, inasmuch as in exchange for a good shelter where to be able to lead the own searches they put to disposition their great acquaintances. One small part of the Clan was not formed from students, but from guerrieri, with the task to defend the own ones confratelli. This narrow group of vampiri, formed only from women, carried the name of Lamie, which had developed the Deimos discipline, that she allowed to use in battle their acquaintances on the dead women. Structure of the Clan: Being a Clan of solitary students, their reunions were rather infrequent. For many centuries the Clan gathered periodically to the presence of Cappadocius in person in the monastero leggendario of Erciyes, but as a result of the destruction of this, during the solstizio of winter, the more skillful members of the Clan began to gather in an abandoned monastero in order to execute ritual secrets. Nickname: Ladri di Cadaveri, GraveRobbers Aspect: Usually they wore studious or monastici dresses, but they were many diffuse between these cainiti also black tuniche and funeral masks. Shelter: The shelters you take delight in of this Clan were tombe, ossari and catacombe, in order to isolate itself in their studies. The shelters were often furnish to you with funeral equipments, and it was not rare that were defenses from creatures not-dead women and corpses animated from their dark powers. Disciplines of Clan: Auspex, Mortis, Fortitude Weaknesses: All the Cappadoci introduced a strange pallor that rendered them similar to dissanguati corpses; that rendered their social relations more difficult and it rendered them mainly recognizable. Some pertaining to this Clan moreover introduced deformations as a result of Abbraccio, that they transformed their bodies and you turn rendering them skeletal. Attainment of the Prestige: The Cappadoci did not give a great weight to the prestige of Clan if in how much it could not giovare to their searches; therefore more it estimates members to you than this stirpe they were those who had caught up the greater goals in the field of the tanatologico study. Quote: "To the end, all we will end in powder... yes, also you Brother mine. But indeed six therefore obtuse one to think that that one will be the end of the existence " Cappadocius, Baron Samedi, Saulot and the Baali Cappadocius was a holy man in life, a shaman or some sort of priest. He spent his unlife in pursuit of the mysteries of death. It was this quest that lead him to the Giovanni family of necromancers. Augustus Giovanni believed that Cappadocious was mad, especially after learning that the Antediluvian planned to somehow Diablerise God! Augustus believed there was only one action he could take. After Cappadocious' Diablerie by Augustus Giovanni, the Giovanni proceeded to wipe out all Cappadocians. However, some may have survived, such as the Inifitiore, a group of Cappadocians who broke away from the rest of the Clan centuries before. It is theorised by some that Baron Samedi and his bloodline are descended from these survivors, their decomposing-corpselike visages a blight that had been noted with increasing frequency among the Cappadocians in the years leading up to their fall. The emergence of the Harbingers of Skulls has also boosted speculation that the Cappadocians are back, and they are hungry for vengeance. Saulot is the closest thing to a Cainite saint. It is said he was particularly favoured by Caine, who some say, saw Saulot as a surrogate Abel. It is known that Saulot was kept close by Caine, and was also a close friend of Malkav, and when he had visions, as he was known to do, everyone listened to Saulot's words. The Salubri Clan were healers and caregivers, but some were also warriors, descended from Samiel, Saulot's hot-headed childe who trained with Brujah and Gangrel warriors. No one knows for certain exactly where the Baali came from. The Baali themselves talk of a mysterious vampire who embraced the three leaders of a cult of devil worshippers, the first Baali. It has been whispered that this vampire might have been Cappadocious, indeed, many Baali believe it was, but others whisper that it might have been Saulot. Still, when the Baali threat emerged, Saulot was enraged, sending his warriors at the forefront of the Second City's vampiric army. Sadly, Samiel was slain by a traitor from within his own Clan during the battle. While the Baali were defeated, and have been in subsequent conflicts, they have always remained, and while Saulot still lived, he viciously pursued any means to destroy the satanic vampires. Some whisper that it was not chance that lead Tremere to choose Saulot for Diablerie, and many wonder how Tremere could have so easily learned the location of the sleeping Ancient. The possible involvement of the demonic Baali in the Tremere's ascendancy to Clan-hood is a theory that is spoken of only in the quietest voices, for the implications, should it be true, are almost too terrifying to contemplate. "I don't know much about the Cappadocians. They say the Giovanni were once part of this Clan before they took over and destroyed them. What I do know is that the Cappadocians were into death. Not in the creepy, perverse, pseudosexual way the Giovanni are, but in a scholarly, esoteric, almost spiritual way. I wish I could have known one, they sounded interesting. Don't know about the Samedi, they're even more screwed up than the Nosferatu, and even more revolting looking, if that's possible. I heard a story recently that Baron Samedi is the childe of a 4th Generation Cappadocian who survived the Giovanni "takeover". Apparently this guy's name is Lazarus, he's been sleeping for centuries, and now he just woke up. Gehenna survival kits anyone? "Don't know much about the Salubri either, the Elders don't have much to say about them but I know they HAVE stuff to say, they just don't want to talk about it. Just another reason why the Tremere should be destroyed. I do know the story that Samiel, the first Salubri Warrior, trained under the guidance of our great progenitor, as well as the Brujah Antediluvian. Apparently we Gangrel used to help them out in the middle ages when they were being hunted by the Tremere, and I'd be happy to continue that tradition, but there are so few Salubri left, I doubt I'll ever even meet one before they're all gone. As for the Baali, I've heard only vague horror stories, which reminded me of tabloid news stories or Jerry Springer calibre stuff. I just hope the stories are exaggerated, because these guys are really scary. If you ever run into one, kill first, ask questions later." Play a vampire, a unique character, not a " clan clone. " |
